Our Story
It started at a desk in Myrtle Beach
For five years, Joe has been streaming Tomorrowland in Belgium from his home office — watching the biggest DJs on the planet light up a festival on the other side of the ocean and thinking, one day, that's me in that crowd. Joe is single with no kids, works at a hospital in Myrtle Beach. When he isn't working, he's home at the setup the family calls the Command Center — a 49-inch curved monitor streaming EDM DJ sets on YouTube loud enough to feel like the front row. Five years of front-row-from-the-desk was enough. In 2026, Joe decided it was time to stop watching the festival and start going to one.
The Command Center — where five years of Tomorrowland livestreams turned into one wild idea.
A brother doesn't let a brother rave solo
There was just one problem: Joe didn't want to do it alone. So he called his brother Benny in Alabama. Benny is not an EDM guy. Benny had never planned to be an EDM guy. But when your brother asks you to fly to Orlando and dance for three nights so he doesn't have to rave solo, you say yes. That's what brothers do.
The family verdict: crazy — but go
For the record: everyone who has heard about this trip thinks this is a crazy idea. Two brothers, well into boomer territory (130+ years between the two), at one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world? Crazy. But here's the thing — not one of them tried to stop us. They shook their heads, laughed, and let us go. That's family.
So here we go
November 6–8, 2026, Joe and Benny are walking into EDC Orlando together — VIP passes, matching shirts, kandi to trade, and a point to prove: you are never too old to rave. BoomersRave is where we document every step of it. Follow along, and if you see two brothers grinning like kids under the electric sky, come say hello. We brought stickers.
Joe
The dreamer and the planner. Single, no kids, hospital worker, and mayor of the Command Center. Five years of Tomorrowland streams built this trip — and he's the one keeping the locker codes, the checklist, and the countdown.

The co-pilot and the voice of reason. Skeptical of the drop, allergic to glitter — and still the first one on board. He's here so his little brother doesn't rave solo, and somebody has to keep Joe's crazy ideas in check.
